Meet Our Staff
Suzanne Hatch - Stylist Since 1981, Owner Since 1988. Trained at The Advanced Beauty in Tucson, AZ . She became a member of the NCA and was on The Arizona Design Team and trained stylist statewide on the latest trend. She moved to the Cape in 1986, worked at SHAMPOO in South Dennis before opening New Image Hair in 1988. She is passionate about education for herself as well as her staff. She has styled celebrities from The Cape Playhouse, and been involved in many community events over the years. Suzanne is certified in The Bio Ionic Hair Straightening system.
Justine Baltrushunas - Stylist Since 2006. She has attended many classes in the salon, as well as the Goldwell Education Center in Holliston MA, including Color Primary, Color Secondary, Color Fix, Dimensional Color Placement, and Trend Zoom '08, '09, also KMS Upstyling to keep up to date with the latest styles in hair coloring and cutting. Her work is outstanding in all areas especially dimensional color, haircutting and styling. She is available in the salon Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 9 am - 7pm.
Kara Malzone - Stylist Since 2007. She has attended many classes in the salon, as well as the Goldwell Education Center in Holliston MA, including Color Primary, Color Secondary, Color Fix, Dimensional Color Placement, and Trend Zoom '08, '09, also KMS Upstyling to keep up to date with the latest styles in hair coloring and cutting. Catie Driscoll - Stylist Since 2009. Catie joined New Image in 2004 when she interned at the salon for nearly a year. She graduated from D-Y High school and attended Keene State College before her training at Blaine Hair School. Catie is passionate about education and recently attended KMS Styling and Cutting Profiles, Goldwell Color Primary, and Color Secondary, and Dimensional Color Placement classes at the Goldwell Education Center in Holliston, MA. Call for an appointment with Catie on Wednedays and Thursdays 11-7, and Saturdays 9-4.
Reema Zaiter - Stylist Since 2005. Reema graduated from Blaine in Boston in 2005. While attending Blaine she worked as a receptionist at JM Styles in Norwood. She began working as a stylist there after getting her cosmetology license. Moving to Boston, she began working under the owner of Shimon Salon located on Tremont Street in Boston. She continued working the salon as she went back to college. She graduated in May 2010 with a BS in Advertising from the New England Institute of Art. Moving to Cape Cod after graduation she found her place at New Image Hair Salon. She has 5 years of experience and continuously takes color education classes. She has a passion for art and color! She specializes in cutting, blow drying and coloring hair. Reema is available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 9-5.
Peter Brown - Stylist Since 1981. Peter recently joined New Image after returning to the Cape from Vermont. Peter's extensive career in the beauty industry has allowed him to become certified in all of the lastest techniques form some of the best educators in the world. He is available Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9-5, Fridays 11-7 and Saturdays 9-4.
Sienna Bryden - Receptionist Since 2009. Sienna is available at the salon on Saturday's to help with all your appointment scheduling needs. She is also attending Cape Cod Technical High school.
Carly Ouimette - Receptionist Since 2011. Carly recently moved to the Cape from the Worcester area. She has experience in the spa and beauty industry. Carly also has an extensive career as a professional dancer and teacher. She is available at the salon Tuesdays through Fridays 8:30 to 5:00 for all your appointment scheduling needs.
